STRUCTURE
The philosophy of Fiorwood® is based on offering high-quality and environmentally friendly flooring, made from renewable materials and with zero chemical emissions. The 0.6mm layer of natural wood on the surface, combined with a core of 7 layers of birch, helps optimize raw materials in an eco-friendly way, allowing for the maximum number of wood layers with minimal waste of natural resources. As a supporter of responsible forest management, Fiorwood® is FSC certified.

1. GLUE-FREE INTERLOCKING SYSTEM: LOCKSTP
2. FINISH: 12 coats of High Traffic varnish. Brushed open pore grain highlights the natural essence of the wood.
3. TOP LAYER: 0,6mm NOBLE WOOD micro-beveled on all 4 sides.
4. CORE: Made of 7 layers of FSC engineered 100% birch plywood (thickness 9mm/0.35’’).
5. SUBSTRUCTURE: Contra-balance 0,6mm Wood veneer with a waterproofing varnish. Made of a layer of pore-filler varnish which helps to ensure the compact plan configuration of the piece and fire resistance.
Woodpeak embraces nature and respects the environment. This collection embodies our philosophy by maximizing the use of raw materials by slicing it into very thin slices instead of using thick lumber boards where most of the wood is not used to its full extent. The ultimate flooring solution for high traffic areas. The construction of this collection compounds glue deep into the wood grains until it is fully saturated. During the finishing process, the top layer wood absorbs part of the varnish, which then bonds with the glue. The wood is completely saturated then hardens and becomes stronger in the process.
